Let's crumb
I am afraid I have a reputation. And I do not mean the Crazy Catlady one. I am the colleague that bakes almost every weekend. Since eating alone however does not make you happy, I do the next best thing: I take my creations to work and have my colleagues try them.
My career in the kitchen really started when I first conjured up my Christmas Baking Marathon about 7 years ago. I took a full weekend, 48 hours, and back then about ten different cookies recipes and baked and baked and baked.
Following The Great British Bake Off and getting inspired by it, I started broadening my baking horizon. The positive feedback of friends and colleagues just deepened my motivation.
So here we are. My love language is food. I cannot imagine much that gives me more contentment than seeing people enjoying food I have prepared. Can you?

Anisseed Cookies
You love them or you hate them. When I talk about aniseed I usually get an "Ewww no" or an "Oooooh yummy". There seems to be no grey area between the two. For me, it's obviously "Oooooh yummy" - these are my favourite biscuits!
