"Liebe geht durch den Magen.", as we say in Germany - "Love goes via the tummy". This is to say my love language is food.
Being busy in the kitchen is more than love for me though. It is creativity and contentment. Pride on what you have created, even more profoundly so when (part of) the ingredients come from your own garden.
Last not least the deep gratification when you see friends and family really enjoying themselves while eating what you have prepared.

Anisseed Cookies
You love them or you hate them. When I talk about aniseed I usually get an "Ewww no" or an "Oooooh yummy". There seems to be no grey area between the two. For me, it's obviously "Oooooh yummy" - these are my favourite biscuits!
